Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro Review
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd is an international as well as multi-brand company which has been serving the world by manufacturing and retailing different types of electrical commodities and other military products for more than 70 years. The particular company released a new smartphone known as the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro on July, 2016 in India and other parts of the country. However, Samsung officially launched the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro recently on February, 2017 in Nepal. Like other devices, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro is also an Android smartphone that was launched by adding some new features that were lacked in it’s predecessor Samsung Galaxy On7 which was released on November, 2015.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro, because it lies in low range devices, is made up of metal and plastic body just like it’s predecessor and has got the same look. The device, just like On7, lacks the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is quite thick, but has the same weight as of its predecessor Galaxy On7. Just like other smartphones manufactured by Samsung, Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro has got the same design. The device has got an earpiece on the top on its front part along with front facing camera and different sensors. The home button exists below the screen having recent app button and back button on each sides. The home button, however, doesn’t works as a fingerprint sensor. Besides, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro, just like its predecessor, lacks backlit functionality, and because it lies in the low-range devices of Samsung, it is not supported by notification LED lamp.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro has got a power button on the right-hand side. The volume adjusting keys have been placed on the left-hand side of the device. Furthermore, a mic, a 3.5 mm stereo earphone socket and USB Type-B port has been placed at the bottom of the device. The speaker grille has been placed on the backside of the device along with rear camera. The SIM cards slots and MicroSD card slot have been placed beneath the back panel.
Talking about the display, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro has been equipped with 5.5 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels ~267 ppi pixel density. The device has got good display screen, viewing angles are good, and provides vibrant color output. Besides, its predecessor too had the same display. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro, just like Samsung Galaxy On7, lacks ambient light sensor, which means the users have to manually adjust the brightness to use their device in intense light, however, it has got an Outdoor mode which adjusts the brightness for 15 minutes or until the screen turns off. Furthermore, the device lacks Corning Gorilla Glass which is used protect the screen from scratches.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro features Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, whereas, its predecessor used to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and could be update to Marshmallow version of Android. Besides, the Samsung On7 Pro has been featured by Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset, Quad-Core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. The phone comes with 16 GB of internal memory. Moreover, the device features microSD card slot which means the memory can be expanded up to 128 GB. Besides, the device comes with 2 GB of RAM. Nevertheless, its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy On7 had 8 GB of internal memory and had only 1.5 GB of RAM.
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro has been supplied with 13 MP, f/2.1 aperture lens autofocus rear camera. The device comes with single LED flashlight. The main camera has got different features like face detection, geo-tagging, touch focus. The camera captures good photos in the sunlight. Moreover, the device has been furnished with 5 MP, f/2.2 aperture lens front facing camera. The rear camera also helps to capture the video at 1080p@30fps.
Furthermore, the device, just like its predecessor, comes with Li-Ion 3000 mAh removable battery. Because the device lies in the low-range device, it lacks adaptive fast charging functionality. The battery, however, is good and gives nice backup. The device is available in white and black color.
