Oppo F3 Review
Today we will be reviewing an Android smartphone manufactured by Oppo, a Chinese company which has been focusing on manufacturing and marketing attractive smartphones that can be afforded by every people. And giving continuity to the same process, Oppo recently released it’s another budget-oriented high-end smartphone known as the Oppo F3 on May, 2017. The Oppo F3 can also be said as the small brother of the Oppo F3 Plus which was launched one month ago.
The Oppo F3 too copies the design of iPhone which can be seen in many devices manufactured by Oppo. Also, the rear part of the Oppo F3 is made up of a metal. Similarly, the front of the device, just like Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) and other upper-mid range devices, receives 2.5D curved corning gorilla glass 5. And the overall, metal panel and front glass are combined in a metallic frame.
The Oppo F3 features an earpiece above the screen surrounded by dual front facing camera, sensors and a notification light on each side. Further, the device features physical home button along with capacitive touch buttons below the screen, however, these capacitive touch keys are deprived of backlit and the home button cannot be pressed.
Furthermore, the F3 features a secondary mic on the top and the micro USB port on the bottom followed by a primary mic and a 3.5 mm earphone at the left and a mono speaker grille at the right. The device besides, includes the SIM cards and microSD card tray and a power button below it at the right hand side, whereas, the left hand comprises of volume adjusting keys. Besides, the device contains main camera and a LED flashlight at the top-left corner.
Moreover, the Oppo F3 features 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and ~267 ppi pixels density. The color production of the screen is good as it produces vibrant, saturated and accurate colors. The viewing angles of the device too are perfect. The screen is also bright and it also features light sensor which adjusts the screen brightness automatically in accordance with the screen.
The Oppo ships F3 running with Android 6.0 Marshmallow but we cannot be sure if the device receives nougat update. Further, the device is functioned with Mediatek MT6750T chipset, Octa-Core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T860MP2 GPU. Further, the Oppo F3 comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 128 GB using a microSD card.
Additionally, the Oppo F3 is equipped with 13 MP, f/2.2 aperture lens, phase detection autofocus main camera and a LED flashlight. The main camera also possesses features like 1/3” sensor size, 1.12 µm, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama. And this device, as it popularly known as a selfie focused camera, sports dual 16 MP and 8 MP of front facing camera which allows users to capture self-portraits in two different mode.
Further, the F3 features Li-Po 3200 mAh non-removable battery. However, this device, despites of being a high-end device, doesn’t supports fast charging which can be pointed out as a disadvantage. Anyway, this device is packed with a powerful battery which can give backup for more than a day with the single charge. Also, the device is available in gold and rose gold colors.
