New Dashain Song Makhamaliko Dashain by Jamuna Sanam and Belu Dhital

Makhamaliko Dashain is a new Nepali Dashian song by Jamuna Sanam and Belu Dhital. The music video features Prakash and Arushi. The song is released on occasion of the biggest festival of Nepal ‘Dashain’ which is directed by Dipendra Timalsina and edited by Pawan Simkhada.

The lyrics for the song was written by Belu Ram Dhital  and the music for this song was also composed by Belu Ram Dhital. Makhamaliko Dashain music video represents the agony of the youth who went abroad for employment and unable to join their family in festivals and happy moments. The music video features talented Nepali artists Prakash and Arushi. They both are famous and loved artists. The music video is based on the Nepal’s biggest festival ‘Bada Dashain’. Dashain is the national festival of Nepal. Dashain symbolizes the victory of gods over demons and victory of good over the evil. According to Hindu philosophy, a demon called ‘Maishasura’ was killed by goddess Durga and saved everyone from his evils. Thus, Dashain is celebrated for this victory over the demon.
