Dhanko Bala is a new Nepali Dashain song by Surya Khadka and Tara Paudel Shrestha. The music video features Raj Subedi and Sanchita Sahi. The song is released on occasion of the biggest festival of Nepal ‘Dashain and Tihar’ which is directed and edited by Shiva Bhurtel and cinematographed by Ganesh Sapkota.

The lyrics for the song was written by Shiva Akheli and the music for this song was composed by Keshab Rijal. The music video features talented Nepali artists Raj Subedi and Sanchita Sahi. They both are famous and loved artists. This music video describes the feelings of men who are in abroad to earn money. The music video is released on the Nepal’s biggest festival ‘Bada Dashain’. Dashain being the greatest festival for Nepalese is always celebrated with the zeal and most joyful ways. The 1st day is welcomed following the rituals of ‘Ghatsthapana’ by worshiping Goddess Durga for 9 consecutive days. The main day is called ‘Dashami’ which is also known as ‘Vijaya Dashami’, the day when Goddess Durga got victory over demons. On this day the seniors put ‘Tika’ and ‘Jamara’ giving blessings to their younger ones. The special money given to the younger ones is received as ‘Dakchhina’.
