Lenovo Vibe K3 Note Review

The world of smartphones completely changed from the time when Chinese manufacturers started manufacturing and marketing attractive smartphones in low budget. Following the same trend, a Chinese company which was already manufacturing laptops, started manufacturing and marketing smartphones, the company was known as Lenovo. Lenovo had manufactured number of smartphones. However, today we will be reviewing the Lenovo Vibe K3 Note, the predecessor of the Vibe K4 Note.

The Lenovo Vibe K3 Note, just like other mid-range smartphones of Lenovo, is completely made out of a plastic. The rear panel is made up of thin and glossy plastic that attracts fingerprints. The fore part also lacks the gorilla glass.

The top bezel of the Lenovo Vibe K3 Note features an earpiece, a front facing camera and various sensors. Moreover, we can see the capacitive touch home, recent app and back buttons below the screen. However, the capacitive touch buttons, just like other smartphones of Lenovo, is deprived of backlit.

Moreover, the topmost part of the Lenovo Vibe K3 Note features a 3.5 mm earphone socket and the micro USB port. Similarly, the bottom part features primary microphone. The device possesses volume keys and power key on the right side. Further, the K3 Note carries a main facing camera at the top-left corner on the back side followed by a dual tone LED flashlight. Besides, the speaker grille is placed at the top-right corner. The SIM cards slots and microSD card slot are placed under the rear panel.

Furthermore, the Lenovo Vibe K3 Note features 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with the 1080 x 1920 pixels HD resolution and ~401 ppi pixels density. The screen produces vibrant, saturated and accurate colors. The text too is sharp and viewing angles are also perfect. Further, the device features light sensor which allows users to use their device under intense light by automatically adjusting the screen brightness.

Moreover, the Lenovo Vibe K3 Note is operated with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Besides, the device is functioned with Mediatek MT6752 chipset, clocked with Octa-Core 4 x 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T760MP2 GPU. Furthermore, the device comes with 16 GB of ROM which can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card. Also, the device features 2 GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the Lenovo Vibe K3 Note has been equipped with 13 MP, f/2.0 aperture lens, autofocus rear facing camera which is supported by a dual tone LED flashlight. The device also is equipped with 5 MP of front facing camera. The rear camera is capable of shooting nice photos at the daytime, however, the camera does not works well in the lowlight. Similarly, the front camera also works well for taking good self-portraits. Besides, the main camera also helps to shoot videos at [email protected], the camera is not good enough as of the Galaxy A3 (2016) which too features 13 MP rear camera.

Additionally, the Lenovo Vibe K3 Note is powered with Li-Ion 3000 mAh users’ removable battery. Nevertheless, the device, just like other mid-range smartphones, is deprived of fast charging. The battery, however, is good and gives battery backup for more than a day with a single charge. Moreover, the device is available in three colors; onyx black, pearl white and laser yellow.
