Lenovo Vibe C Review
A Chinese company which first established itself as a PC manufacturer, started to manufacture budget smartphones, and giving continuity to the tradition, Lenovo released it’s another smartphone named the Lenovo Vibe C on May, 2016. And here is the review of the same Lenovo Vibe C.
The Lenovo Vibe C, just like the Lenovo A6600, is made out of a plastic. Moreover, the device lacks the protection of gorilla glass in the fore part which is visible in many mid-range devices. The rear panel also receives a matte finish which makes the device look premium.
The Lenovo Vibe C, just like other smartphones, features an earpiece followed by front facing camera at the topmost bezel. However, the device, like the Lenovo A2010, lacks an ambient light sensor. Further, the device features capacitive home, recent app and back buttons below the screen. However, these capacitive touch keys are deprived of backlit.
The top part of the Lenovo Vibe C features a 3.5 mm earphone socket along with the micro USB port. Similarly, we can notice that the device features primary microphone at the bottom. However, we can see that the device lacks secondary microphone. The device, at the right side, carries volume keys and power key. The rear part, besides, features a main camera and flashlight at the top-left corner. Further, the rear part carries Vibe branding at the center and Lenovo branding and speaker at the bottom. Also, the SIM cards and microSD card slots can be found under the rear panel.
Furthermore, the Lenovo Vibe C comes with 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen featuring the resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and ~294 ppi pixels density. The screen produces vibrant color. The colors too are saturated and vibrant. The device also possesses good viewing angles. However, the device lacks light sensor which means users should manually adjust screen brightness.
Moreover, the Lenovo Vibe C is operated with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, nevertheless, cannot be upgraded to any new software released by Android. Further, the device is equipped with processors like Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset, Quad-Core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno GPU under the hood. The Lenovo Vibe C, besides, is equipped with 8 GB of internal memory which can later be expanded to 32 GB using a micrSD card. The device also features 1 GB of RAM.
Furthermore, the Lenovo Vibe C is furnished with 5 MP, autofocus rear facing camera and a LED flashlight. The camera comes with features of geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and so on. The device also sports 2 MP of front facing camera. The rear camera is able to capture nice shots at the day time, however, starts taking noisy picture in the lowlight.
The Lenovo Vibe C, besides, is powered with Li-Ion 2300 mAh removable battery. However the device is not supported by fast charging. Besides, the device acquires good battery which can go up of more than a day with the single charge. Further, the device is available in black color.
