Huawei Honor 9 Review

 The Huawei Honor 9 is made out of a glass from both front and rear sides. The rear part of the device too is curved from both sides which gives it a premium look. The front part too looks like Samsung’s newly released devices.  The Huawei Honor 9 features an earpiece at the top of the screen along with the front facing camera and sensors. The bottom of the device features a physical home button which also works as a fingerprint sensor. And the recent app and back buttons are placed on each sides of home button.

Moreover, the Huawei Honor 9 acquires volume alteration keys at the right side followed by a power key below it. The USB Type-C micro USB port is placed at the bottom of the device along with the 3.5 mm earphone socket and a speaker grille. The SIM cards trays are placed on the left side of the device.

Furthermore, the Huawei Honor 9 features 5.15 inches LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen having the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (~428 ppi pixel density). The color production, just like other high-end devices, is vibrant and saturated. The viewing angles are also as expected.

 Besides, Huawei ships Honor 9 running with Android 7.0 Nougat. Also, the Honor 9 is functioned with HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset, Octa-Core (4 x 2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 and 4 x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. The device, further, is available in three variants; 4 GB and 6 GB RAM for 64 GB internal memory and 6 GB RAM for 128 GB of ROM.

 Additionally, the Huawei Honor 9 is equipped with advanced camera. The device features dual 20 MP+12 MP, f/2.2 aperture lens, phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom main camera supported by dual tone LED flashlight. The camera too comes with various features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and so on. Also, the main camera is capable of shooting UHD videos at 3840 x 2160p@30fps. Further, the device features 8 MP of front facing camera and both cameras are capable of giving you nice photos.

 In addition, the Huawei Honor 9 is powered with 3200 mAh Li-Po users’ non-removable battery, however, we are not sure whether the device is featured with fast charging. The battery featured in the Huawei Honor 9 is good enough having nice battery backup. Furthermore, the device is available in three color variants; Amber Gold, Seagull Grey and Charm Sea Blue.
