Huawei G7 Plus Review
Today we will be examining an Android smartphone named Huawei GR7 Plus or Huawei G8 manufactured by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. Huawei has served the world by manufacturing smartphone, and giving continuity to it, Huawei released a new smartphone called the Huawei G7 Plus also known as Huawei G8 (region based) on May, 2016.
The Huawei GR7 Plus’s body, unlike other smartphones of Huawei, is made completely made up of metal. The rear part is made up of brushed metal and the sides too are made up of metal. The device, furthermore, receives slight curves on both sides at the rear part which allows the users to handle device comfortably. Besides, this device’s screen, just like other upper-mid range smartphones (for example, Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 Edition, and others as well), receives protection of 2.5D gorilla glass. The device links an earpiece on the top of the screen along with the company of front facing camera, a notification LED light and different sensors. The device equips the capacitive home, recent app and back button in the screen.
Besides, we can notice the volume alteration keys followed by a power button below it at the right side of its body. The device equips 3.5 mm earphone socket and an active noise cancellation mic at the top of its body. Furthermore, we can observe a microphone, speaker grille and a micro USB port at the bottom of the device. Besides, the SIM cards slots and microSD card slot can be seen at the left side of the device. The rear end of the device’s body obtains the main facing camera, a LED flashlight followed by a fingerprint sensor below it.
Furthermore, speaking about the display, the Huawei GR7 Plus is furnished with 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen featuring company’s own user interface, Emotion UI 3.1. The screen acquires HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels having ~401 ppi pixels density. Moreover, the device features gorilla glass. The display quality of the device is good and the viewing angles are too good. Moreover, the screen provides vibrant colors and the text is sharp and clear. The device can easily be used in the outdoor as the screen is bright.
Besides, the Huawei GR7 Plus is equipped with Android v5.1 Lollipop and soon may get an update of Android v6.0 Marshmallow. The device, furthermore, is comes with Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset. The device is equipped with Octa-Core (4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and 4 x 1.2 Cortex-A53) CPU and Adreno 305 GPU. The Huawei GR7 Plus acquires 32 GB of internal memory which can later be expanded to 128 GB with the help of a microSD card (SIM 2 slot), and acquires 2 GB of RAM.
In addition, the device furnishes 13 MP, f/2.0 aperture lens, OIS, autofocus, dual-tone LED flashlight rear camera and the rear camera comes with various features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, HDR. Moreover, the device features 5 MP front facing camera and is able to take quality photos at day time. The rear camera allows us to capture videos at 1080p.
Also, the Huawei GR7 Plus is armed with Li-Ion 3000 mAh non-removable battery. However, the Huawei GR7 Plus, just like other smartphones of Huawei, lacks fast charging functionality. And speaking on the basis of its capacity, the battery may give nice battery backup. The device is available in gold, silver and gray colors.
