Honda Dio Review

The Honda Dio is a scooter manufactured by Honda, a popular two wheeler as manufacturing company. The scooter was first introduced in the year 1988 in Japan, however, the scooter currently gets manufactured in Indian subsidiary of Honda, HSMI. The Honda, like other scooters and bikes, has gone through various changes. Also, the company launched the updated version of Honda Dio in the year 2012.

The Honda Dio retains the same body platform, nevertheless, this time the company has painted the scooter with different colorings. The company, following the trend, has placed the headlight at same old place in the new Dio. The new Dio is also furnished with cushioned seat for the comfort of the riders. The new scooter also comes with the feature of combi brake system which is helpful to reduce the chances of accident.

Also, the Honda Dio features the height and length 1110 mm and 1760 mm respectively. Also, the scooter is 710 mm wide having the weight of 110 kg. The front wheel, besides, is 1238 mm far from the rear wheel and the scooter maintains the gap of 145 mm away from the ground.

Moreover, the scooter is equipped with 4 stroke, OHC, air cooled engine which provides maximum power and torque of 8 bhp and 8.6 Nm along with displacement of 109 cc. Also, the scooter has been furnished with bottom link with spring loaded hydraulic damper front suspension and spring Shock absorbers, hydraulically damped rear suspension.

In Nepal, the official vendor of the HSMI is Syakar Trading Company Private Limited which imports and looks after the sales and services of Honda’s two-wheelers.
